Our Story

Mower & More, LLC. was established in March 2015, after a family member lost their job unexpectedly just before retirement.  My wife and I walked house to house, throughout our community, placing flyers on the doors of our neighbors.  We then prayed, stood on faith, and waited patiently for our phone to start ringing.  Within the week we began to receive calls, pick up customers, and go to work.  By the end of our first summer, our 2-man crew serviced 84 lawns.

Each year, since 2015, Mower & More has literally grown “more and more”.  Not only were we able to assist our family member to retirement, but I have also been able to take an early retirement from State Law Enforcement (Game Warden of 17 years) and after 17 years as an educator, my wife was able to take an early retirement.  This has enabled us to not only focus our attention on our business, but also more attention on our family, as well as serving in our faith.

Fast forward to the present, we now work multiple crews year around servicing both residential and commercial properties.  While we started as primarily “grass cutters”, we now specialize in all inclusive commercial and residential contracts.

My wife often asks me if I ever imagined that our little “door-to-door” “Mom and Pop” business would have made it this far. My answer has always and will always be the same.  We prayed to, felt led by, and were obedient to our Heavenly Father.  As the Book of Jeremiah 29:11 says, “For I know the plans I have for you,’ declares the Lord, ‘plans to prosper you and not harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future.”  The short answer is yes, I did, and I believe the best is yet to come.
